Who May Enter
Citizens of the world, with the exception of SAA employees, Judges and Contest Sponsors.
Categories
6 and Under
7 to 10 Years
11 to 14 Years
15 to 18 Years
Adult
Entries
Accepted at the AeroShell Tent on Sunday, January 22, 2012 between 9am and 12 noon. Participants entering model airplanes in the contest that are under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. Entry forms are available on line or may be picked up at the Sebring Regional Airport. Limit one plane per entrant. There is no charge to enter a model airplane in the contest.
Admissions
EXPO 2012 Gate Admissions: 12 and over $10 per day or 4-day pass for $30; under 12 years of age is free. Parking charge is $5 per day.
Rules
Any static airplane model under 25”, any medium, kits or free hand
No radio controlled accepted
No distasteful décor (discretion of the organizing chair)
Plane must be built within the last 2 years
*Novice is limited to only those that have built less than 6 model aircraft in the prior two years
Judging Criteria
Clean Assembly, Details, Painting, Decals, Finesse
Awards
1st, 2nd, and 3rd in each category will be awarded at the Closing Ceremony
