Media Registration:
Media credential requests for the 9th annual U.S. Sport Aviation Expo are now being accepted. A form has been provided for your submission. Only Media that have pre-registered will be allowed complimentary admissions for Expo 2013. Media credentials are limited to working media representatives only. This does not include family members, colleagues, retirees or those working in sales, advertising, marketing or promotions. A documented finished piece of your final work is requested to be sent to the Expo office within 60 days of the conclusion of the Expo.
To pre-register, kindly return the Media Credential Request Form to the Expo Office, either by fax or email and supply a copy of your media affiliation. All pre-registered media will receive Expo 2013 Media Credentials in the mail just prior to Expo 2013, to be held on January 17 – 20, 2013.
Media Center:
Expo 2013 will provide a private area for the visiting media to utilize as a workspace, appropriately named the Media Center. The Media Center will be stationed near the base of the control tower inside the Expo area. The Media Center will serve as the location for media representatives to conduct interviews and pick up exhibitor’s press releases. The area is serviced by the airport wireless internet system.
Press Conference Hangar:
New this year will be scheduled press conferences, to take place in the designated Press Conference Hangar on appointed days and times. These press conferences will supply media with pertinent, time-sensitive aviation oriented information that you won’t want to miss.
Golf Carts:
Media representatives with heavy gear, specifically TV crews, may obtain transportation support at the Media Center. The Expo will provide a limited number of golf carts for this purpose. The carts will be stationed at the Media Center and Check In\Check Out will take place there. Carts may not be removed from the Expo area. Golf carts will be available only from 9:00 AM through 5:00 PM, and must be promptly returned by 5:00 PM. Failure to do so will cause the crew to be ineligible for further use of the cart. Be prepared to leave a driver’s license to obtain a cart.
