Exhibitors, Sponsors, Media and Local Officials Reception: Wednesday evening, January 20, 2010, the Expo staff will host a reception at the Sebring Regional Airport terminal. This event is to recognize those who have made the Expo possible, those who are in the LSA business as well as our sponsors. It will be casual and by ticket only. Music provided by Fire N Ice Steel Ensemble and Gary Filip, who now lives in Lake Placid, FL. Check out his website at www.garyfilipmusic.net.
Volunteer Recognition Dinner: The Expo staff will hold a dinner on Friday, January 22, 2010 to recognize those without whom the event could not be conducted. The purpose is to recognize those who have volunteered their time and effort to make the Expo a success. A dinner ticket will be provided to each volunteer. Music provided by Chicago’s legendary piano bar entertainer, Gary Filip, who now lives in Lake Placid, FL. Check out his website at www.garyfilipmusic.net. Our speaker will be Jim Rendel who is a long-term mission pilot in Africa and does aviation and wildlife fine art.
LAMA Dinner and Meeting: The Light Aircraft Manfacturers Association will host a dinner and conduct their Annual Meeting on Thursday, January 22, 2010. This event is sponsored by Aviators HotLine.
ASTM Meeting: The ASTM Executive Committee will meet on January 18, 2010 and ASTM Meetings will be held January 19 and 20, 2010 at the Four Points Sheraton Chateau ‘elan on Sebring Regional Airport.
Raffle: The Expo will conduct a raffle during the show. The grand Prize will be a Garmin GPSMAP696 provided by Garmin. Other prizes include Aeroshell Flight Jacket Kit Bags, a gift card, pilots flashlight and wall clock from Aircraft Spruce & Specialty, a book from Piper Aviation, and a Shirt from Cessna. Other prizes will be included as they are arranged. Tickets will be on sale in Space 12, beside the Sebring Regional Airport exhibit, and one does not have to be present to win.
